So I was one lucky lady this month! I scored lots of great deals and I even got my first VoxBox filled with lost of goodies. This Rose VoxBox that I received was more of a beauty themed box and there is another one going out called the Violet VoxBox that other select members will be getting.

 

Julep Review

I have heard so much about Julep and how awesome their nail polishes is so I took advantage of the free maven box for first time subscribers. All I paid was the S&H which was fairly inexpensive and I received two nail polishes, a full size beauty product and a sample product.

One thing that I like to do when I get my glam bag is to check out the deals from the products that I receive in my glam bag. Coastal Scents is new to me so I checked it out and what really appealed to me was the ability to buy samples to try before spending a ton of money on a product I may not like. The samples are very reasonably priced and I even got a little gift for making a purchase. Also if you subscribe you earn 300 points which equals to $3.00 off.

Dr. Scholl's Active series insoles

I had the pleasure of testing out and reviewing this product and I was very pleasantly surprised on how wonderful they feel. They are suppose to help with the Ball of the foot, arch and heel. Well let me tell you, it feels like sand between your toes amazing. I was so excited to rip out my insoles from my tennis shoes and put these bad girls in and to give them a test "walk" (I don't run). I actually managed to walk 4 miles in my shoes which is an improvement for me.


Here is a picture I snapped of my new insoles in my shoes! I was glad the insoles were pink to match my shoes. LOL

I spend a lot of time on my feet and I am so glad that I got to test out these awesome insoles!!

October's Ipsy glam bag

First I wanted to say that I am sorry for not posting as much. I have been a little busy with school, work and life in general. Second, sorry for not making a spoilers post! I just did not have the time to even look at the spoilers this month. I did just recently (Saturday) get my glam bag and I managed to snap some pictures to share. YAY!!! Anyways here is my October's glam bag. =)

Home office organization

I have a serious obsession with organizing. I have completely redone my family binder, my filing drawer and I am currently working on my desk. Now ideally I would love to own the whole Martha Stewart home office collection because well it's cute and functional. But when I started jotting down everything that I wanted for my desk and making marks on the prices I realized how ridiculously expensive it would be. I only work part time and attend school full time so buying everything that I want at once is not going to happen which makes me sad in a way. So....... onto my new assignment. Looking long and hard for a more inexpensive option. I do like some of the See Jane Work collection at Office Depot and it's not as expensive but almost, it may just end up being my second solution till I am satisfied. I have been doing a lot of brainstorming though and jotting down prices for things that I want to incorporate into my "office" space. Really it's just a desk, I have no actual separate office so that's why I want to be really satisfied before I put money into something that I am not happy with.
